Hump Day

Not that kind you sickies!

I feel as if I've been neglecting the Blog but this week has been really busy. Our Annual Meeting for work is Thursday and I'm busy doing stuff for that and in the evenings I have had something every night so far. Valentine's Day was fun-filled, culminating with Sesame Chicken from Great Wok. They make the good stuff! I also rented Open Waters and I thought it was good but the more people I tell that I watched it, the more say "that sucked." Different strokes for different folks I guess. If you saw it, let me know what you thought.

Tonight I'm getting my taxes done so I'm going to do my best to find my W2s. I have no clue where I put them but my work bag is always a good bet. Am I the only one who has a work bag that puts stuff in it, then gets to work and doesn't take it out, then ends up carrying it back and forth from work to home for weeks until finally things get ruined by coffee stains from the mug put in at the end of each day? I always get so annoyed when that happens but I know I'm not the only one who goes home with good intentions to get things done and then only goes into their bag to retrieve the coffee mug!

Anyway, once I find the W2s and get things squared I hope I get a refund because, well frankly, getting money is a lot better than having to pay money. And then I can pay for my flight and hotel and stuff for the U2 excursion. We got a flight from here to Vegas for $100 bucks. Dude, that's like free! The flight back from Phoenix was a bit more expensive but it's still not bad.

And did everyone see the Grammy's this past Sunday and see Larry apologize for the fiasco? Very upstanding I thought. Although they looked to be dragging around, I heard Bono hurt his back and they couldn't perform Vertigo cause he'd have to jump around. I say he can stand still just as long as he does something about that hair - both him and Larry are struggling in that department. Both aren't follicularly challenged, you'd think their stylists would help them out a bit and suggest, I don't know, gel and spikes for Larry and a nice dye job for Bon Bon ala the ZooTV tour! And back with the fly shades I say - keep those baby blues covered!

Yes, I obsess way too much about this stuff, I know...

Alias night - let's hope no more blood diseases or scripts re-hashed from the Mulder and Scully days!
